Indoor air quality questions
Will a better filter hurt my system?
It can if the filter restricts airflow more than the system can handle. Whole-home filtration should be sized for the equipment, which is why we check before installing.
What is an ERV or HRV?
Both bring in fresh outdoor air and exhaust stale indoor air while recovering much of the heating or cooling energy. They’re most useful in tightly built homes.
What does UV air treatment do?
UV lamps installed in the system are used to help keep the coil and nearby surfaces cleaner. We’ll explain where it fits and where it doesn’t.
Can you help with wildfire smoke?
Better filtration and keeping outdoor air out during smoke events can help. We’ll look at your system and suggest realistic options.
